04 LUTINE
Lutine of Helford is a 58-foot Bermudian yawl designed by Jack Laurent Giles and built by Camper & Nicholson in 1952.
She initially came to the yard for a refresh of her topsides, but we soon embarked on an extensive restoration project which included replacing whole sections of planking / part of her beam shelf, splining her topsides, recaulking her entire deck, repairing her stern post and installing a new engine, amongst other work. To finish off, we hand-brushed the topsides and meticulously refreshed all the varnish work, both inside and out.
Lutine combines traditional aesthetics with remarkable sailing capabilities. She is actively raced and cruised, participating in classic regattas like the British Classic Yacht Club events, the Round the Island Race, and voyages along the English Channel and Brittany coasts.
